1951 Harbor Bay Parkway was developed as a build-to-suit for Exelixis, Inc., a growing life science company that develops and commercializes treatments for cancer. Exelixis leases The Waterfront Campus, also acquired at the same time by srmErnst, that sits adjacent to the site. The new four-story, 220,000 sf building designed by Brick Architects was delivered in Q1 2022 and serves as Exelixis’ new headquarters. This certified LEED-BDC Gold project was awarded a 2022 Real Estate Deal of the Year award by the San Francisco Business Times and won a Structural Engineers Association of Northern California Award of Merit for the innovative design by Tipping Structural Engineers.
